Continuation of the YoungLEAD project in Granada, Spain
At the beginning of November we we had another YoungLEAD project meeting in Granada, this time in Granada, Spain. The meeting was attended by teachers Jan Juříček and Pavel Namyslo, who represent our school in this project, and the partners from schools and educational organisations from Spain and Ireland. On the first day we focused on a summary of the project's outputs so far, which are soft skills games for pupils and a methodological guide for teachers. Here we also discussed their inclusion in the project's learning platform, which should be available at the beginning of next year. We have also started work on another project deliverable, which includes small learning units, called learning nuggets and through topics such as communication, problem solving or decision making, they will be used to help pupils practise their soft skills and further self-development. We have followed this up by planning further activities which will be webinars for teachers and the completion of the learning platform. During the day we also tried out some self-development games that can be used with students in the classroom and for Stross we presented on the topic of engaging foreign language learners in schools and the situation in the Czech Republic and we followed this with a short discussion. On the second day we visited the school COLEGIOS SALESIANOS GRANADA ((https://granada.salesianos.edu/)
